Is retirement all that it's cracked up to be?

What is the biggest change when you stop working and start retirement? Is it the reduced income, the increased time, the freedom to lie in bed in the mornings?

There is certainly a freedom in retirement, and for many this will be experienced as a bewildering spew of possibilities. If I decide not to lay in bed all day, well what should I do?
